High Intensity Support

Specialist Care for Complex Needs — Delivered with Compassion

When daily care involves medical complexity, families need more than basic support. They need confidence. They need skill. They need a team they can trust.

Our High Intensity Support services are designed for participants who require specialised daily assistance due to complex health needs. We combine professional clinical oversight with genuine compassion, ensuring every person feels safe, respected, and supported.

What Is High Intensity Support?

High Intensity Support refers to specialised care for participants with significant or complex health needs that require additional training and supervision.

These supports are delivered in alignment with guidelines set by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission to ensure safety, accountability, and quality care.

Supports We Provide

Depending on individual needs, we may assist with:

  • Complex bowel care
  • PEG and enteral feeding
  • Mealtime and swallowing (dysphagia) support
  • Tracheostomy care
  • Urinary catheter care
  • Diabetes management, including insulin administration
  • Epilepsy and seizure management
  • Pressure injury prevention and wound care
  • Medication administration

All care is tailored to the participant’s unique plan and delivered with dignity and respect.

Clinical Oversight for Your Peace of Mind

We are proud to have a qualified nurse as part of our team who:

  • Oversees all high intensity care plans
  • Provides training and competency assessments for staff
  • Monitors complex health needs
  • Works alongside families and healthcare professionals

This ensures that supports are not only compassionate — but clinically informed and carefully managed.

Our Approach: Safe, Personal, and Family-Focused

We understand that inviting support into your home is a big decision. That’s why we:

  • Take time to understand your routines and preferences
  • Develop individualised care plans
  • Maintain strict infection control and medication protocols
  • Communicate clearly and consistently
  • Treat every participant as a valued individual

We aim to reduce hospital visits, increase independence, and provide families with confidence and reassurance.

Working Towards Registration

We are currently in the process of becoming a registered provider with the NDIS.

While completing this process, we operate in accordance with best practice standards and welcome self-managed and plan-managed participants.
